Deerfield Beach, Florida, United States, September 2025 – Titan America has appointed Maria Clara Silva as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). Before joining Titan America, Maria Clara served as Vice President of Human Resources at Oshkosh Corporation for more than four years. Based in the Greater Washington D.C. area, she played a pivotal role in building HR strategies to support business growth, workforce transformation, and employee engagement at a global level.

Previously, she held multiple senior leadership roles at Valaris Limited, including Vice President of Human Resources during the complex merger of Ensco and Rowan offshore drilling companies. She successfully led the integration, restructuring, and cultural alignment of the newly merged company, delivering ~$90M in annualized savings while managing significant organizational change. Earlier, she served as VP of Business Development, driving offshore drilling growth strategies across Brazil and Mexico, and earlier as Vice President of Human Resources, where she spearheaded HR transformation, centralization of services, and major cost optimization initiatives.

Maria Clara spent nearly two decades at The Dow Chemical Company, where she rose to senior HR leadership roles including Global HR Director and Talent Management Director. She worked across the U.S., Latin America, and Asia Pacific, leading large-scale talent programs, diversity initiatives, and executive succession planning. She also created development programs that accelerated leadership capability and organizational growth across geographies.

Her early career at Dow included roles in commercial strategy and market management in Latin America, giving her a solid business foundation that she later leveraged in her HR leadership journey.
