Mridul Chandra Appointed as Chief Human Resources Officer at Tata Tele Business Services

Mumbai, India, June 2025 – Mridul Chandra has been appointed as the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Tata Tele Business Services (TTBS). In his new role, Mridul will lead the company’s strategic HR agenda across all domains—people transformation, organizational development, DEI, and digitization—supporting TTBS’s vision of enabling enterprise connectivity and digital transformation across India.

Mridul joins TTBS after a distinguished tenure of nearly six years at Tata Communications, where he most recently served as Vice President – Human Resources. He was instrumental in leading global HR strategies across Talent Management, Culture, DEI, and HR digitization, and also provided HR leadership for international geographies. He successfully drove M&A programs and led HR Business Partnering for key global functions, significantly contributing to organizational agility and growth.

Before that, he served as Associate Vice President – Human Resources at Tata Communications, overseeing HR for subsidiaries and enabling functions. He also led Global Talent Acquisition, Business Continuity Management, and the development of the “Future of Work” strategy—an integrated, future-ready HR model aligned with business continuity and talent sustainability.

Earlier, Mridul was Global HR Director at Tata Communications Transformation Services (TCTS), where he provided HR leadership to a global workforce of over 5,000, supporting managed telecom services for global clients. His role focused on HR transformation, talent management, and acquisition integration.

Mridul’s prior experience spans across reputed firms including Colt Technology Services, ABN AMRO, WNS, EY, Wipro, and Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL), where he held progressive leadership roles in HR strategy, M&A, employer branding, and operations.

He is a postgraduate in Human Resource Management from Xavier Institute of Social Service and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from St. Xavier’s College, Ranchi.
