Salt Lake City, Utah, United States, January 2026 — RateGain, a global provider of AI-powered SaaS solutions for travel and hospitality, has appointed Nathan Sheranian as Vice President, People & Culture. Based in the Salt Lake City Metropolitan Area (remote), Nathan will lead RateGain’s people and culture agenda, bringing deep expertise in scaling global talent systems, people operations, and leadership development across high-growth environments.
Prior to joining RateGain, Nathan Sheranian served as Chief People Officer at Connor Group for about two years, leading the end-to-end People function supporting 700 professionals across the USA and India, spanning HR, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, and People Operations & Systems.
Before that, he was Vice President, People at Marigold for around two years, leading global, client-facing people functions including HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, Employee Experience, Learning & Development, HR Solutions, and Global Compensation. In this role, he directly led a ~25-member team supporting 1,700 employees across 15 countries spanning the Americas, Europe, Asia, and Australia.
Nathan also spent roughly three years at Freshworks as Head of Human Resources, Americas, where he built the North America HR function and helped scale the organisation significantly, overseeing core areas such as TA, DEI, HRBP, People Operations, Total Rewards, L&D, and Workplace Experience.
Earlier in his career, he held multiple leadership roles at Cisco, including Business Unit Human Resources Leader for Cisco’s Internet of Things (IoT) business and HR Leader, Engineering, with global responsibility across multiple countries, supporting large-scale engineering teams and business transformation initiatives. He also served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Maine, teaching Human Resource Management, and held HR leadership roles at GE Power and GE Healthcare, including organisation effectiveness, talent development, and strategic workforce planning responsibilities across the US and Africa region.
Alongside his corporate leadership roles, Nathan contributes actively to the people community as a Board Member at Elavare, a Founding Member of the Society for People Analytics, and a long-standing People Expert with StartupExperts, supporting leaders through peer learning and shared problem-solving.
