Mauritius, December 2024 – Poonam Keenoo-Seegoolam has been appointed Director – Operations at Oak Group in Mauritius. In her new role, Poonam will oversee client operations and relationship management, implementing process efficiency strategies to streamline operations and enhance client satisfaction. Additionally, she will lead training initiatives aimed at improving team performance and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Poonam joins Oak Group with extensive experience in operational leadership. Before joining Oak Group, she was the Head of People Supply Chain – Project Lead at Ocorian for nearly two years, where she led various projects and initiatives focused on improving operational processes and driving business growth in Mauritius.
Prior to her role at Ocorian, Poonam served as the Chief Operating Officer at Mauritius International Trust Company Limited for almost two years, overseeing the company’s operational strategies and ensuring effective delivery of services. She also served as Head of Operations at the same company for four and a half years, where she managed a wide range of operational and managerial responsibilities, including knowledge management, budgeting, and team development.
Poonam’s career in operations began at Mauritius International Trust Company Limited, where she worked for nearly nine years in various managerial roles, focusing on optimizing operational performance and delivering client-focused solutions.
