Stamford, Connecticut, United States, August 2024 – Raquel Ferreira has been appointed as the new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), Reinsurance at AXA XL. With over 10 years of dedicated service at AXA XL, Raquel brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of strategic leadership in human resources.
Raquel Ferreira has been with AXA XL for over 10 years. Prior to her new role, she served as the Global HR Business Partner, CUO and Claims, where she acted as a strategic partner for designated functions, bringing innovative and strategic practices and programs to the client group. Raquel emphasized talent management, organizational design, and retention, and was responsible for headcount and expense management for global/central teams.
Raquel also served as the Head of HR Latam, managing AXA XL’s Latin America HR operations (Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, Mexico, and Chile). She supported regional leadership in shaping a culture of local empowerment and strong collaboration, aligned with AXA XL Group’s global principles.
Before joining AXA XL, Raquel worked at Allianz Seguros in various HR roles, including Recruiting, Development & Training Superintendent and Development Manager. She has also held HR positions at Baldor Specialty Foods, Inc., Belcan Staffing Solutions, and Easy Way Products.
