Wayne, New Jersey, United States, July 2024 – Getinge proudly announces the appointment of Rebecca Barefoot Adams as the new Senior Director Human Resources for Cardiac Surgery and Cardiac Assist, North America. With extensive experience in HR leadership and strategic management, Rebecca brings a wealth of expertise to her new role. She will be instrumental in driving HR initiatives and supporting the company’s mission to improve patient lives.
Rebecca Barefoot Adams joins Getinge from Forian Inc., where she served as the Vice President of Human Resources from April 2021 to June 2024. At Forian, she was responsible for human capital management, employee learning and development, and professional employer organization (PEO) functions, showcasing her strategic HR leadership.
Before her tenure at Forian, Rebecca was with IQVIA for nearly four years, holding various roles including Sr. HR Director, Global HR Business Partner and Senior Director Human Resources. At IQVIA, she led strategic people initiatives for multiple global business units and was instrumental in developing and implementing talent strategies for a large business unit.
Rebecca also served as an Adjunct Professor of Human Resources at County College of Morris from September 2016 to December 2017, where she developed curriculum and provided instruction for HR certificate programs.
Her earlier experience includes roles such as Senior Human Resources Business Partner at Siemens for nearly a decade, Human Resources Business Partner at Target, and Human Resources Partner at MTF Biologics. Rebecca started her career as an HR Coordinator at Ernst & Young and later served as an HR Administrator at Liberty Science Center.
