Helsinki, Finland, March 2025 – Reeta Asikainen has been named Head of People & Culture at LIWLIG Finland, where she will spearhead strategic HR initiatives, employee engagement programs, and cultural transformation efforts to strengthen the company’s workforce and leadership development.

Prior to joining LIWLIG Finland, Reeta Asikainen served as People & Culture Partner at VR Group for nearly two years, where she played a key role in aligning HR strategies with organizational goals. She was responsible for providing strategic and operational HR support to long-distance traffic and core business functions, overseeing an employee base of 1,200 professionals. During her tenure, she contributed to a 14% increase in long-distance travel volumes, led leadership training workshops, and played a pivotal role in enhancing employee satisfaction and well-being through strategic HR initiatives.

Before that, she was HR Manager at Lamor Corporation, where she led the company’s global HR operations, implementing HR processes, compliance frameworks, and engagement initiatives while supporting managers in executing strategic HR functions. She also played a key role in developing HR reporting systems and early-care programs to enhance workforce effectiveness.

Earlier in her career, Reeta held leadership roles at Choice HR and Clevry, where she focused on business development, talent acquisition, and employer branding strategies. Her expertise in HR transformation, leadership development, and organizational culture enhancement has been instrumental in fostering positive work environments and driving organizational growth.
