Bawal, Haryana, India, June 2026 — Uno Minda has promoted Roopanshu Saxena to the position of Business HR Head – Sunroof Division.
Saxena has been associated with Uno Minda for more than six years and has held a series of progressively responsible Human Resources leadership roles across multiple business domains and locations within the organization.
Prior to his current promotion, he served as Manager – HR (LAS Domain) from April 2025 to May 2026 in Manesar, Haryana.
Earlier, he worked as Senior Deputy Manager HR (SCS Domain) from April 2024 to March 2025 in Bengaluru, Karnataka. In this role, he was responsible for Talent Acquisition, Leadership Development Programs, Succession Planning, HR Analytics, Manpower Planning, MIS, Compliance Management, Internal Audit, Performance Management Systems, and Employee Engagement across multiple locations including Bengaluru, Hosur, Gurugram, Bawal, Gujarat, NCR, and Chennai.
From April 2022 to March 2024, Saxena served as Lead – HR Operations (SCS Domain) in Bawal, Haryana. He was responsible for HR Operations, Legal Compliance, Budgeting, MIS and Data Analysis, and Manpower Planning for the entire SCS Domain. His responsibilities covered approximately 1,100 staff employees and 4,600 blue-collar employees across NCR, Bawal, Gujarat, Hosur, Bengaluru, Chennai, and Pune.
He joined Uno Minda in October 2019 as Assistant Manager – HR in Gurugram, Haryana. During this period, he managed recruitment and selection processes, onboarding and induction programs, employee record management, training and development initiatives, manpower planning, succession planning, retention analysis, attrition analysis, performance management processes, and employee welfare programs.
Prior to joining Uno Minda, Saxena spent more than four years with Hema Engineering Industries Limited. He served as Deputy Manager from April 2017 to September 2019 and earlier as Assistant Manager – Human Resources & Personnel from April 2015 to March 2017. His responsibilities included payroll administration, recruitment, training and development, performance management, succession planning, manpower forecasting, retention management, and HR operations.
Earlier in his career, he worked with APC by Schneider Electric as Senior Executive – HR & Admin from January 2013 to March 2015 in Rudrapur, Uttarakhand.
He also served as Officer – HR (Tyres Division) with TVS Eurogrip Off-Highway Tyres from July 2011 to December 2012 in Rudrapur, Uttarakhand. His responsibilities included manpower coordination, payroll administration, attendance and overtime management, statutory compliance, vendor management, employee training, CSR activities, employee record management, and administrative operations.
Saxena holds an Executive Development Programme certification in Strategic Human Resource Management from the Indian Institute of Management Kashipur. He also holds a Diploma in Training and Development from the Indian Society for Training & Development (ISTD), a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) in Labour Law from Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University, and a Master’s degree in Personnel Management (MBA – Human Resources Management) from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
