London, United Kingdom, September 2024 – Rosamund King has been appointed as the Chief People Officer and Director at Praxis Real Estate Management. In her new role, she will lead the people and culture strategy across Praxis Group, including Praxis Real Estate Management, Praxis Facilities Management, TASKFIT, and Hanover Law. Rosamund’s focus will be on fostering talent development, ensuring HR operations align with business goals, and creating a supportive work environment across the group’s various entities.
Before joining Praxis, Rosamund King worked as an HR Consultant and Director at Cala HR Consulting for 1 year and 3 months. In this role, she provided HR consultancy support to both large corporations and SMEs, managing projects such as employee relations, recruitment, and organizational restructures. She also helped clients streamline their HR operations and enhance employee engagement through leadership and wellbeing programs.
Prior to Cala HR Consulting, Rosamund was the Head of Human Resources at FirstBank UK Limited for 3 years and 10 months. At FirstBank, she spearheaded a strategic people agenda, driving cultural transformation and operational efficiencies across the bank’s offices in London, Paris, and Lagos. She played a pivotal role in aligning HR operations with regulatory frameworks such as the Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SMCR), while also leading initiatives to support the bank’s strategic growth.
Rosamund also served as Head of Human Resources at Al Rayan Bank, where she oversaw HR operations during a period of rapid growth. During her 3 years and 7 months tenure, she was responsible for shaping the HR function of the UK’s only wholly Sharia-compliant retail bank, working closely with the executive leadership and the board to support the bank’s expansion while managing the HR budget and leading talent initiatives.
Earlier in her career, Rosamund held various HR roles, including HR Consultant at The People Link Ltd and Head of Recruitment at CIL Management Consultants. She also contributed to the growth of Newton Europe Limited as Head of Human Resources, where she established the HR team and supported the organization through rapid expansion.
