Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, May 2026 – Zifo has promoted Shoba M to the role of Head – People & Culture, recognizing her decade-long contribution to organizational development, employee engagement, and people transformation initiatives within the company.
In her new role, Shoba will lead the company’s people and culture agenda, focusing on strengthening organizational capability, employee experience, leadership development, and culture transformation as Zifo continues expanding its scientific informatics and digital transformation capabilities globally.
Shoba M has built an extensive HR leadership journey at Zifo over more than ten years, progressing through multiple strategic people leadership roles. Prior to her elevation as Head – People & Culture, she served as HR Organizational Development Consultant, where she focused on organizational effectiveness, people practices, and leadership capability building.
Earlier, she played a key role as Employee Engagement Champion, driving workplace culture initiatives, employee engagement strategies, and organizational development programs aimed at strengthening employee experience and collaboration across the organization. She also served as HR Manager, leading talent acquisition, HR operations, employee relations, and workforce development initiatives during a significant growth phase for the company.
Before joining Zifo, Shoba worked as HR Manager at Vembu Technologies, where she managed recruitment activities, employer branding initiatives, employee relations, and training and development programs. She also facilitated the establishment of employee engagement initiatives including a Toastmasters Club and contributed to strengthening workplace culture.
Earlier in her career, she held HR leadership and operational roles with InfoTrellis, Inc. and Allsec Technologies, gaining expertise across recruitment lifecycle management, onboarding, performance management, rewards and recognition, employee engagement, HR policy development, and organizational communication. She began her professional journey as a Management Trainee with Max Life Insurance Company Limited.
Shoba holds an MBA in Human Resource from ICFAI Business School Hyderabad.
