Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, May 2026 — Nuvoco Vistas Corp. Ltd. has promoted Sunder Tomer to Deputy General Manager – HR, marking a significant milestone in his progressive HR leadership journey with the building materials company.
Tomer has been associated with Nuvoco Vistas Corp. Ltd. for over eight years, steadily advancing through key HR business partner roles across cement sales, ready-mix concrete, logistics, and regional operations. In his new role, he will continue serving as HR Business Partner for Cement Sales North & West and Logistics PAN India, driving talent acquisition, talent management, performance management, employee engagement, employee relations, learning and development, organizational development interventions, and employee health and safety.
Before this elevation, Tomer served as AGM – HR, supporting cement sales across North and West regions and logistics operations across India. His earlier roles at Nuvoco included Senior Manager – HR, Manager – HR, and Deputy Manager – HR, where he strengthened HR operations, workforce planning, and people processes across multiple business units and geographies.
Prior to Nuvoco, Tomer worked with JK Lakshmi Cement Ltd., where he handled recruitment, induction, employee engagement, performance management, payroll, grievance handling, talent management, exit interviews, and administrative responsibilities.
Earlier, he served at Gati-Kintetsu Express Private Limited, building strong experience in HR operations, employee lifecycle management, payroll, performance management, and employee relations. His professional journey also includes an early teaching role with the American Institute of English Language.
With over 15 years of experience across cement, building materials, logistics, HR operations, and business partnering, Tomer brings strong people leadership and operational HR expertise to his expanded role at Nuvoco.
