Overland Park, Kansas, United States, May 2026 — Valerie Newman has started a new position as Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Menorah Medical Center, bringing strong healthcare operations, hospital leadership, and executive management experience across leading healthcare institutions.
Before joining Menorah Medical Center, Valerie served as Chief Operating Officer at St. David’s Georgetown Hospital, where she led hospital operations, strategic initiatives, and patient-centered healthcare excellence.
Earlier, Valerie held the role of Vice President Operations at Medical City Healthcare, where she strengthened operational performance, healthcare delivery systems, and strategic hospital functions.
She also completed an Administrative Residency Program with HCA Healthcare, further developing executive healthcare leadership expertise, and previously worked as a Consultant with UF Health’s Department of Anesthesiology, contributing to operational and healthcare management initiatives.
