Dubai, United Arab Emirates, May 2026 – Vikram Sharma has joined Foresight Group as Director – Ports & Terminals. Bringing more than four decades of global maritime, shipping, port operations, and terminal management experience, Sharma will support Foresight Group’s continued expansion and diversification across logistics, shipping, energy, and infrastructure businesses.
In his new role, Vikram Sharma will leverage his extensive expertise across port operations, container terminals, shipping networks, maritime logistics, and operational transformation. His appointment aligns with Foresight Group’s strategy of strengthening its capabilities across global transportation and infrastructure sectors while exploring new growth opportunities in emerging markets.
Prior to joining Foresight Group, Sharma founded Mark IV Intelligent Yard Planning under Blunovation, where he focused on developing intelligent yard planning solutions aimed at improving operational efficiency and productivity within ports and terminal environments. Through this initiative, he worked on advancing technology-enabled solutions designed to optimize terminal operations and logistics management.
One of the most significant chapters of Sharma’s career was his nearly decade-long tenure as Chief Executive Officer of Terminal Investment Limited. During this period, he led one of the world’s leading container terminal operators, overseeing global port investments, operational growth, terminal development, and international expansion initiatives. His leadership contributed to strengthening the company’s position in the global maritime and logistics ecosystem.
Earlier, Sharma served as Managing Director – Nigeria for MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company and also held responsibilities as Director – Operations, South Asia & Middle East at P&O Ports. These roles provided him with deep expertise across international shipping operations, regional logistics networks, terminal management, customer service excellence, and business development across emerging and developed markets.
His distinguished maritime career also includes leadership roles with Tanker Pacific Management, ABS Marine Services, and Neptune Shipmanagement Services. Earlier, he spent nearly two decades at sea, progressing from Cadet to Master Mariner, including a decade-long tenure with Shipping Corporation of India. This unique combination of operational shipping experience and executive leadership has made him one of the industry’s most experienced maritime professionals.
