Mumbai, India, August 2024 – Shalu Saxena has been appointed as the Director of Human Resources Administration at Ferring Pharmaceuticals. In this new role, she will lead the HR operations and administration, ensuring the effective implementation of HR strategies and contributing to the company’s overall mission in the biopharmaceutical sector.
Shalu Saxena has been with Ferring Pharmaceuticals for over two years, previously serving as the Associate Director of Human Resources & Administration. In this role, she was instrumental in driving HR initiatives and managing the overall administrative functions of the organization.
Prior to joining Ferring, Shalu held the position of Human Resources Manager at HDFC Life for over four years, where she focused on business partner corporate functions, employee engagement, and talent management.
Before her tenure at HDFC Life, Shalu was an HR Business Partner at Bunge, where she was responsible for end-to-end HR solutions for sales teams across India. Her role included strategic HR consulting, talent acquisition, and employee engagement.
Shalu’s earlier experience includes her role as an HR Business Partner at Britannia Industries Limited, where she partnered with business functions to ensure timely recruitment and managed HR processes for the West Region.
In addition to these roles, Shalu has worked in significant HR positions at PepsiCo and DENSO, where she gained extensive experience in recruitment, learning and development, and industrial relations.
