Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, June 2025 – Redington Limited has announced the elevation of Rajat Vohra as the new Chief Executive Officer – India, effective July 1, 2025. Rajat, who currently serves as Chief Sales Officer at Redington India, will take over from Ramesh Natarajan, who transitions to CEO – IME (India and Middle East) for the broader Redington Group. This leadership transition reflects Redington’s commitment to maintaining strategic momentum and furthering its impact in India’s dynamic technology ecosystem.
Rajat Vohra has been a driving force at Redington Limited since 2022, serving as Chief Sales Officer and spearheading major sales transformation initiatives. His leadership reinforced Redington’s market positioning, channel strength, and digital adoption, shaping the company’s competitive edge in India’s evolving IT landscape.
Prior to joining Redington, Rajat was the General Manager for India and South Asia at Newell Brands (Reynolds Pens India Pvt Ltd), where he led growth, operations, and strategy for the iconic writing instruments brand across the region. His experience included overseeing distribution, market expansion, and business development.
Earlier, Rajat spent nearly eight years at Shell, holding pivotal leadership roles such as National Sales Manager and Route to Market Leader for the India cluster (including Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Nepal). He crafted immersive channel strategies, built robust distributor networks, and executed market expansion plans, contributing to significant growth and operational excellence across geographies.
Before Shell, Rajat was GM, Distribution and Channel Management – Mobile Phone Business at Samsung India, where he developed disruptive channel models and strategic partnerships that quadrupled revenues and built one of the strongest distribution networks for Samsung’s mobile business.
Rajat’s journey also includes over eight years at HP, progressing through key roles including Zonal Manager (North), PSG Commercial Sales Manager (North India), Country Distribution Manager (PSG), Partner Business Manager (SPO), and Major Account Manager/Channel Manager – SI Partners at Hewlett-Packard India Sales Pvt Ltd. Here, he redefined distribution networks, strengthened partner alliances, and drove growth across SMB, government, and enterprise verticals.
