Manchester, England, United Kingdom, February 2026 — Mark Ledsham has started a new role as Chief Executive Officer at Conferma. In this role, he will lead the company’s overall strategy and growth agenda, strengthening its position as a global leader in virtual payment technology for the travel and payments ecosystem.
Mark steps into the CEO role following his tenure as Chief Operating Officer at Currencycloud, where he was responsible for scaling operations and supporting global expansion. During this period, Currencycloud operated as part of Visa, where Mark also served as Vice President, Operations, focusing on operational excellence, acquisition integration, and performance management across fintech platforms.
Prior to this, he served as Chief Executive Officer at XE.com, where he led the business through a period of growth in international money transfers, digital currency services, and global product expansion. He also held the role of Chief Revenue Officer at Euronet Worldwide, overseeing revenue strategy across the digital payments group.
Earlier in his career, Mark spent nearly a decade with OFX, where he served as Chief Financial Officer, partnering closely with the CEO to drive strategic growth, optimise global distribution, and build robust financial and governance frameworks. His earlier experience includes senior roles at Macquarie Group and Deloitte Australia, providing him with deep expertise across financial services, payments, and global operations.
