Orlando, Florida, United States, May 2026 – Orlando Health has announced the appointment of Susan Toadvine as CHRO, Midwest Region. In her new role, she will lead human resources strategy and people initiatives for the healthcare organization’s Midwest operations as Orlando Health continues expanding its regional healthcare footprint.
Susan Toadvine brings significant leadership experience across human resources, talent acquisition, people and culture, and employee relations, with a strong background in employee-centric organizational development and workforce leadership.
Before joining Orlando Health, Susan Toadvine served as Vice President, People and Culture at Publix Employees Federal Credit Union, where she led people strategy, organizational culture initiatives, and employee engagement programs during a transformative phase for the organization.
Prior to that, she spent nearly 15 years with Publix Super Markets as Director of Associate Relations and Talent Acquisition. During her tenure, she played a significant role in talent acquisition leadership, employee relations, workforce engagement, and people development initiatives for one of the largest employee-owned supermarket chains in the United States.
Her extensive experience across talent management, organizational culture, employee engagement, and leadership development has positioned her strongly to lead regional HR transformation and workforce initiatives at Orlando Health.
Susan Toadvine holds a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising from Florida Southern College and an MBA in Human Resources from Saint Leo University.
