United States, June 2026 — Hannah McClellan Richards has been appointed Chief Operating Officer at Lime, joining the shared electric vehicle company after an extensive career spanning operations, technology, product management, supply chain and transportation leadership.
In her new role, Richards will focus on strengthening operational excellence across Lime as the company works to improve rider experiences, support the transportation objectives of its city partners and advance its mission of making transportation shared, affordable and carbon-free. Her appointment brings significant experience managing complex, large-scale operating environments.
Richards joins Lime following nearly 16 years at Amazon, where she most recently served as Vice President, Operations, Product and Tech for Amazon Pharmacy from February 2024 to June 2026. Before that, she was Technical Advisor and Chief of Staff to the Worldwide Amazon Stores CEO, providing her with experience at the intersection of executive leadership, strategy and global operations.
Her Amazon career also included serving as Vice President – Amazon Freight, Inbound Transportation & Returns and Director, Amazon Transportation Services. Earlier roles included Head of Product Management, Product Replenishment Business, Senior Manager, Product Management at Amazon Fresh, and Senior Manager, Operations Excellence. Across these assignments, Richards developed extensive experience in logistics, transportation, product development and operational management within one of the world’s largest operating networks.
Before Amazon, Richards worked with PRTM and served as New Product Introduction Program Manager at Motorola, where she led supply-chain activities supporting global mobile phone launches. She also completed an internship focused on customer experience strategy and delivery at Dell. Richards attended the MIT Sloan School of Management as a Leaders for Global Operations Fellow and pursued an MBA and MS in Systems Engineering.
