Dubai, United Arab Emirates, April 2026 — Akashdeep Singh has started a new position as Chief Strategy Officer & Board Member at Tech First Gulf, where he will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s strategic direction and driving growth across the Middle East and Africa region. In this role, he will focus on strengthening channel partnerships, expanding market presence, and enabling next-generation technology adoption across the ecosystem.
Prior to this elevation, Akashdeep Singh served for nearly six years as Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) at Tech First Gulf, where he played a key role in building the organization into a rapidly emerging value-added distributor in the MEA region. His strategic leadership contributed to expanding the company’s product portfolio across Unified Communications, Audio-Visual systems, IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and services, while strengthening its network of vendors and reseller partners across multiple geographies.
In addition to his role at Tech First Gulf, he has also been associated with Global Technology Council as part of its Global Board of Directors, contributing to the vision of uniting vendors, distributors, system integrators, and enterprises under a single global technology ecosystem. He also served as Executive Director & Board Member at Global Enterprise Connect, further expanding his influence across global technology platforms and partnerships.
Earlier in his career, Akashdeep Singh held senior leadership roles including Chief Operating Officer at Securico Electronics India Limited, where he contributed to strengthening the organization’s presence in the security and surveillance industry, and CEO at Majic Mobility Limited / Mitsumi Distribution, where he led business expansion across East Africa, building a multi-brand retail initiative and scaling operations across multiple markets. His leadership in these roles reflects a strong ability to drive transformation, scale distribution networks, and build high-performing teams.
He has also held prominent leadership positions at organizations such as Computech Limited as CEO – East Africa, Vihaan Networks as Chief Operating Officer, and Spice Digital Limited as Chief Executive Officer, where he successfully led large-scale business transformations, revenue growth initiatives, and operational restructuring. His early career includes leadership roles at Sify Technologies Limited, HCL Infosystems Ltd, Sify (Satyam Infoway Limited), and Bennett Coleman and Co. Ltd. (Times Group), where he built a strong foundation in sales, strategy, and business development across diverse industries.
