Maple Valley, Washington, United States, May 2025 – Amanda Westendorf has stepped into the role of Senior Director, Talent Partnership at Sound Physicians, a national medical group known for its commitment to clinical excellence and physician-led care. In this strategic leadership role, Amanda will be responsible for advancing organizational talent strategies, enhancing leadership partnerships, and accelerating workforce development across the organization.
Amanda has been with Sound Physicians for over three years, having held multiple progressively senior roles. Most recently, she served as Director of Talent Management, where she led talent initiatives focused on leadership development, succession planning, and organizational effectiveness. Before that, she was Senior Talent Development Partner and Talent Development Partner, contributing significantly to shaping the organization’s internal development programs and culture of continuous learning.
Before joining Sound Physicians, Amanda had a long and successful tenure at Alaska Airlines, where she spent over eleven years in various roles. As Manager, Inflight Training Delivery, she managed a large-scale training operation supporting over 6,000 flight attendants across multiple locations. She also held other leadership and instructional design roles, including Instructional Systems Designer II, Manager of Training Development, and Instructional Designer, where she developed impactful training programs for airport operations and customer service teams.
Her early contributions as Training Content Developer at Alaska Airlines laid a strong foundation in instructional design and employee learning strategies, making her a seasoned expert in talent development.
