Kozhikode, Kerala, India, June 2026 — Calinova has announced the appointment of Suveen S as its Chief Operations & People Officer (COPO). In his new role, he will lead the company’s India operations across AI Data Centres, AI Cloud, AI Hub, Professional Consulting, and Arena coworking services while also serving as Group CHRO for Calinova and Allied Group globally. He will spearhead operational excellence, people strategy, workforce planning, organizational development, and scalable governance to support the company’s ambitious AI infrastructure and innovation ecosystem.
Bringing more than 23 years of global leadership experience, Suveen S has built deep expertise in operations, human resources, organizational transformation, and business scaling across Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and North America. His extensive experience in the data centre and cloud industry positions him well to support Calinova’s growth as it expands its AI infrastructure capabilities. Prior to joining Calinova, he served as Chief Operating Officer at Thanal, where he led nationwide operations for one of India’s leading humanitarian organizations, overseeing large-scale programs across 21 states and supporting initiatives that reached more than four lakh people daily.
Earlier, Suveen held multiple leadership positions at Solsten Data Consulting Private Limited, first as Director – Human Resources and later as Chief Operating Officer, driving operational transformation and organizational growth. Before that, he served as Chief Human Resources Officer at SSquad Global, where he successfully implemented HR practices across 16 countries and recruitment strategies across 32 countries spanning Asia, Europe, North America, and Oceania. His career also includes over eight years with NxtGen Datacenter & Cloud, where he held leadership roles as Head of Human Resources and Assistant General Manager – HR, playing a pivotal role in building a high-performance culture, implementing succession planning, streamlining recruitment, and helping the company achieve Great Place to Work certification for consecutive years.
Suveen began building his expertise in the data centre ecosystem through key HR leadership roles at Tulip Data Center Services Private Limited and Tulip Telecom Ltd., where he worked closely with executive leadership on talent acquisition, organizational development, HR analytics, policy formulation, and workforce planning. Earlier in his career, he served as Human Resource Manager at Oceanus Technologies, laying the foundation for a career centered on building high-performing organizations and aligning people strategies with business growth.
Academically, Suveen holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management (PGCHRM) from XLRI Jamshedpur and an MBA in Information Technology from MAHE (Manipal Academy of Higher Education).
