North Carolina, United States, July 2025 – Danielle Greenidge has been promoted to Vice President, People & Culture at SimpsonScarborough, following nearly three years of impactful leadership in the agency’s people function. In this expanded role, Danielle will continue to shape the company’s inclusive and high-performance culture while leading strategic HR initiatives across recruitment, talent development, DEIB, and organizational growth.

Danielle joined SimpsonScarborough in 2022 as Director, People and Culture, and quickly progressed to Associate Vice President in late 2023. Her tenure has been marked by transformative leadership in elevating employee engagement, streamlining people operations, and building equitable talent strategies that reflect the agency’s values-driven brand.

Before joining SimpsonScarborough, Danielle spent nearly six years at Premier Research, where she most recently served as Director of Inclusion, Belonging & Organizational Development. Prior to that, as Associate Director of HR, she oversaw human capital initiatives supporting clinical research operations, driving cultural change and leadership development in a regulated industry.

Earlier, she held progressive roles at INC Research, including Talent Operations Manager, where she led global HR systems implementation and onboarding programs across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC. Danielle also brings hands-on experience in recruitment operations and HR coordination through earlier roles with Cisco (via Experis), Yoh, Onin Staffing, and Headway Workforce Solutions.

Danielle holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management from Colorado State University Global, and her diverse background includes communication, project coordination, and brand promotion – all of which have contributed to her holistic people-first approach.

Matthew Breitfelder is Partner and Global Head of Human Capital at Apollo, where he focuses on attracting extraordinary talent to the firm and creating an innovative, inclusive, high-performance culture that brings out the best in Apollo’s people. Matt leads Apollo’s recruiting, talent management, compensation, succession planning, citizenship, employee relations, development, and culture work. He is also a member of the firm’s Leadership Team. Matt is committed to expanding opportunities across Apollo’s workplace, marketplace, and communities. Prior to joining Apollo, Matt was Chief Talent Officer at BlackRock as well as a member of the Operating Committee. Previously, he held strategy, talent, and innovation roles at Mastercard, PwC, and CEB/Gartner.

Matt holds a BA in Economics from the University of Southern California, an MSc from the London School of Economics, and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He currently serves on the boards of the Lumina Foundation, the Aspen Institute’s Business and Society program, the Milken Institute’s Inclusive Capitalism initiative, and Georgetown University’s initiative on AI, Analytics, and the Future of Work. He is the co-author of numerous Harvard Business School case studies and articles on leadership. Matt has been recognized as a Top Global CHRO multiple times by n2Growth and Stanford Business School.
