Danilo Trombatore Appointed as Chief Financial & Administrative Officer at Global Communities

Bethesda, Maryland, United States, May 2026 – Danilo Trombatore has started his new role as Chief Financial & Administrative Officer at Global Communities, bringing extensive global finance leadership experience across multinational corporations and nonprofit organizations. In this role, he will oversee financial strategy, administrative functions, and organizational transformation to support Global Communities’ mission-driven impact across nearly 30 countries.

Danilo Trombatore joins Global Communities following a diverse and accomplished career in finance transformation, strategic planning, and global operations. Prior to this role, he worked as a Senior Director Finance (Freelance) and continues as Owner of DT Finance Consulting, where he advises organizations on digital finance transformation, investment strategy, and value creation initiatives.

He also served as Financial Planning & Analysis Director at IntraHealth International, where he led financial transformation for a multi-country nonprofit, strengthening FP&A processes, implementing advanced financial systems, and supporting strategic decision-making across global operations.

A significant part of his career was spent at Philip Morris International, where he held senior roles including Finance Transformation Project Lead, Finance Transformation IT Lead, and Finance Controller – Central Functions. During this tenure, he led large-scale finance transformation initiatives across more than 100 markets, redesigned global financial processes, and partnered with C-suite leaders on strategic financial management.

Earlier, he spent over nine years at Colgate-Palmolive, where he held leadership roles such as Finance Commercial Controller Europe-South Pacific, managing multi-billion-dollar operations and leading cross-regional finance teams. He also held key roles in treasury, tax, and financial planning.

He began his career with Ferrero, where he worked across FP&A roles covering Africa, the Middle East, and Europe, building a strong foundation in financial analysis and strategic planning.

Danilo holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Università di Pisa.
