In her new role, Doreen will lead the talent acquisition strategy for AstraZeneca, supporting the company’s global mission of transforming healthcare through scientific innovation. Before joining AstraZeneca, Doreen was a Senior Recruitment Consultant at WilsonHCG for over two years, where she contributed to talent acquisition strategies for various clients, including Johnson & Johnson and Sanofi. Her work at WilsonHCG involved building scalable human capital solutions that helped clients revolutionize their recruitment processes.
Doreen also served as a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner for Johnson & Johnson, where she specialized in recruiting for the Global Legal Organization and Enterprise Corporate Functions across Canada and the United States.
Earlier in her career, she founded Doreen Silva Consulting, where she provided end-to-end recruitment and HR services for over a decade. Her work with various clients helped them identify and hire high-caliber candidates, supporting business growth and expansion.
In addition, Doreen held various leadership positions in recruitment firms like Nova Staffing Inc. and Bay Street Group, where she developed and managed talent acquisition strategies that improved organizational performance.
