New York City Metropolitan Area, United States – November 2024 – Eric Peterson has recently taken on the role of Vice President, Talent Acquisition at Blue Owl Capital, where he will focus on supporting the firm’s recruitment efforts across Accounting, Finance, and Operations. Known for his extensive experience in talent acquisition, Peterson brings valuable expertise to his new role at Blue Owl Capital, a leading asset manager specializing in alternative investments.
Before joining Blue Owl Capital, Eric Peterson served as Vice President of Experienced Hire Recruiting at Goldman Sachs. In this role, he led recruitment for the Internal Audit, Tax, and Corporate Planning & Management divisions, helping to align hiring with the firm’s strategic needs across core functions. He initially joined Goldman Sachs as an Associate, where he gained deep experience in supporting recruitment for key operational teams over his nearly seven-year tenure.
Earlier in his career, Peterson worked as a Recruiting Sourcer via ADP RPO. In this capacity, he supported the Controllers and Finance functions, enabling him to strengthen his recruitment expertise across finance-specific roles. His time with ADP allowed him to develop a strong foundation in sourcing and identifying high-caliber talent within specialized functions.
Prior to ADP, he worked with Infinity Consulting Solutions (ICS) as a Recruiter for Accounting & Finance. During his time at ICS, he focused on recruiting talent for IT, Accounting, Compliance, Legal, and Corporate Support, contributing to ICS’s mission of providing top-notch staffing solutions. Peterson’s experience in sourcing and placement across industries laid the groundwork for his future roles in senior recruitment positions.
His career in recruitment began at The Aspire Group Inc., where he served as a Senior New Business Consultant. At Aspire, Peterson was instrumental in new client engagement and revenue enhancement for sports and entertainment industries, a role that allowed him to hone his skills in client relations and talent development.
