Basel, Basel-Town, Switzerland, April 2025 – Florence Pivert has stepped into the role of Head, People & Culture Pharma International at Roche, bringing nearly two decades of cross-functional leadership experience within the organization. In her new position, she will lead the global people agenda for Roche’s pharmaceutical business across international markets, further advancing the company’s commitment to personalized healthcare and inclusive leadership.
Florence has served Roche for over 18 years, most recently as Global Head of Pharma Technical People & Culture for five years, where she was instrumental in transforming the global HR function for the technical division. Her tenure included spearheading global cultural initiatives and enhancing talent development strategies.
Previously, she held the position of Head of HR Pharma Technical Operations Basel-Kaiseraugst and Global HR Business Partner for the Global Pharma Technical Supply Chain, where she led the HRBP team and provided strategic guidance across operations in Switzerland.

Florence’s earlier roles at Roche included Global HR Business Partner for Pharma Technical Operations – Quality, Head of Human Resources Business Partners, and Head of Strategic Analytics in France, showcasing her versatility in both people and data-driven roles.
Before joining Roche, Florence built a strong foundation in corporate communications and customer experience at Terumo Europe NV and Guerbet, holding senior roles such as European Communication Manager, Customer Delight Manager, and Vice President, Communication.
