Gurugram, Haryana, India, June 2026 — Signify has elevated Irani Srivastava Roy to the position of Head of HR – Greater India & Emerging Markets, expanding her leadership responsibilities across a significant global portfolio. In her new role, she will lead the human resources strategy for India, ASEAN, Pacific, Middle East, Turkey, Africa, Japan, Korea, Latin America, as well as manufacturing operations in Argentina, China, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Brazil. The elevation reflects Signify’s confidence in her leadership as the company continues to strengthen its global people strategy, organizational capability, and talent agenda across diverse international markets.
Prior to this elevation, Irani Srivastava Roy served as Chief Human Resources Officer – India Subcontinent at Signify, a position she has held since 2022. During her tenure, she has led the company’s people strategy across the India business, partnering closely with business leaders to strengthen organizational effectiveness, talent development, leadership capability, employee engagement, and culture transformation while supporting business growth in one of Signify’s most strategic markets.
Before joining Signify, Irani served as Executive Vice President, Head – Distribution HR and Diversity & Inclusion at Max Life Insurance Company Limited, where she led the people strategy for the company’s extensive distribution network while driving diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. Earlier, she was part of Accenture Strategy’s Talent & Organisation consulting practice in London, advising global organizations across banking, telecommunications, consumer goods, retail, defence, and public sector industries on HR transformation, organizational design, operating models, mergers and acquisitions, leadership development, and change management.
Her earlier career includes senior HR leadership positions at India Mortgage Guarantee Corporation, Royal Bank of Scotland, HDFC Bank, PwC, and Indian Hotels (Taj Hotels), where she built broad expertise across HR strategy, business partnering, compensation and benefits, performance management, organizational transformation, talent management, employee engagement, and leadership development. With more than 25 years of leadership experience, she has consistently partnered with boards, CEOs, and executive leadership teams to align people strategy with business priorities across multiple industries and geographies.
