Houston, Texas, September 2024 – Rafael R. has joined Elior North America as the new Chief Human Resource Officer, bringing over two decades of HR leadership experience. In his new role, Rafael will oversee the development and implementation of HR strategies that support the company’s growth and operational efficiency. He will focus on talent management, leadership development, total rewards strategies, and organizational effectiveness across Elior’s North American operations.
Before joining Elior North America, Rafael served as Chief Human Resource Officer at Conn’s HomePlus in The Woodlands, Texas for over a year, where he was responsible for organizational development, talent strategy, and succession planning. His leadership helped drive HR transformation and operational improvements during a time of significant change.
Prior to Conn’s HomePlus, Rafael held the role of Vice President of Human Resources at beeline Group, North America, where he successfully led HR initiatives focused on system implementations and organizational design, ensuring competitive positioning in the market for five years.
Rafael began his HR career at Toys”R”Us, where he spent over 17 years in various HR leadership roles, including Regional Human Resource Manager and Director of Human Resources, playing a key role in talent management, labor relations, and career path planning for employees across multiple regions.
