Pune, Maharashtra, India, May 2026 – Praj Industries has announced the appointment of Sachin Raole as Joint Managing Director & Chief Financial Officer for a five-year term effective 30 April 2026, subject to shareholder approval.
The appointment marks a significant leadership elevation for the company as it continues to strengthen its global growth strategy and innovation-led business expansion across bio-energy, engineering solutions, and sustainability-focused technologies.
A seasoned finance leader with more than three decades of experience, Sachin Raole brings deep expertise across finance, mergers & acquisitions, treasury, taxation, restructuring, governance, and strategic corporate functions.
Prior to his elevation, Sachin Raole served as CFO & Director (Resources) at Praj Industries, where he has been leading finance, commercial, and corporate resource functions since 2016. Over nearly a decade with the company, he has played a key role in strengthening financial governance, operational discipline, and strategic growth initiatives supporting Praj’s global business expansion.
Before joining Praj Industries, Sachin worked with RPG Life Sciences Ltd. as CFO & Senior Vice President – Corporate Services, where he led multiple enterprise functions including finance, legal, procurement, IT, HR, and secretarial operations.
Earlier, he held leadership finance positions within the RPG Group ecosystem including General Manager – Finance at KEC International Ltd. and Chief Financial Officer at RPG Cables Ltd., where he managed finance, taxation, accounts, and M&A-related activities across industrial and infrastructure businesses.
Sachin also spent several years with RPG Enterprises and began his professional journey with CEAT Financial Services Ltd. in merchant banking, building strong expertise in corporate finance and financial strategy early in his career.
Across more than 30 years, he has developed extensive experience in financial leadership, corporate restructuring, governance, business strategy, and large-scale enterprise operations across diversified industries.
