Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, April 2026 — Eternis Fine Chemicals Limited has welcomed Shagufta Nahid as its new Head of Procurement – Global. Based in the company’s Mumbai office, she will lead procurement globally across Aroma & Personal Care, driving excellence in sourcing, supplier development, and strategic initiatives. Her appointment marks an important leadership addition for the company as it continues to strengthen its global procurement and supply chain capabilities.
Before joining Eternis Fine Chemicals Limited, Shagufta Nahid served as Senior Procurement Manager – Personal Care, South Asia at Unilever. In that role, she acted as a strategic business partner and transformation lead for the personal care business in India, owning end-to-end procurement strategy and serving as the single-point commercial partner to the business. She led procurement strategies aligned with sourcing, value chain interventions, margin and cash goals, and competitive advantage. She also drove savings and cash improvement programs, built market and material price intelligence capabilities, strengthened supplier readiness and commercialization, and led sustainability-focused sourcing initiatives.
Prior to that, she worked at PepsiCo as Productivity Lead – South Asia, where she drove continuous improvement programs across the region focused on cost and process improvement. In that position, she led productivity initiatives, anchored multi-year pipelines for savings, and championed value stream mapping, Lean Six Sigma tools, and capability development programs across procurement, supply chain, and agro teams.
Earlier, Shagufta Nahid spent five years at IKEA, where she held roles including Product Development Center Manager – South Asia and Category Manager – Furniture Covers & Home Textiles, South Asia. During this phase of her career, she played a key role in setting up product development capabilities in South Asia, scaling new product development, expanding sourcing volumes, leading major global RFQs, and building value chains for recycled textiles and social entrepreneurship-linked sourcing models. Her work there reflected strong capabilities in procurement, category management, sustainability, and supply chain development at scale.
Before that, she served as Procurement Operations Manager – Castrol at BP, where she acted as a key interface between planning, procurement, finance, and manufacturing to ensure end-to-end purchasing operations for a large spend base. Earlier, she spent more than four years at Unilever in roles such as Cluster Procurement Operations – Commodities and Strategic Procurement – Global Flavour & Fragrances, where she handled large-scale procurement across multiple countries, managed global and local supplier networks, drove cost and gross margin projects, and supported supply chain resilience and value chain optimization.
Her earlier professional journey also includes roles at DuPont, where she served as Supply Chain Controller – India and Supply Chain Operations Specialist. There, she led end-to-end supply chain planning and optimization for the non-woven business, supported SAP implementation projects, and contributed to inventory and warehouse cost reduction initiatives. These assignments helped build the strong supply chain and transformation foundation that has shaped her career over more than two decades.
With over 20 years of experience across leading multinational companies, Shagufta Nahid brings a strong and well-rounded profile spanning procurement, supply chain management, sourcing strategy, supplier partnerships, sustainability, and large-scale transformation projects. Her appointment positions Eternis Fine Chemicals Limited well as it continues to strengthen procurement excellence across its global aroma and personal care business.
