New Delhi, India, September 2024 – Vaibhav Mittal has joined The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) as the new Vice President of Corporate Affairs. With extensive experience in real estate strategy, business development, and public policy, Vaibhav’s appointment comes at a crucial time as IHCL continues to strengthen its market position as India’s leading hospitality company. His expertise will play a pivotal role in driving corporate affairs, contributing to IHCL’s growth and development.
Before joining IHCL, Vaibhav served as Vice President & Head of Business Development at Reliance Model Economic Township (Reliance MET) for over two and a half years, where he spearheaded business development and CRM activities for an 8,200-acre integrated industrial township. His leadership was instrumental in driving marketing, sales, and sustainability initiatives across residential, industrial, and commercial developments.
Earlier, Vaibhav held key roles at Mahindra World City, including Business Head for Chennai, where he was responsible for overseeing the development and promotion of industrial parks, residential spaces, and social infrastructure. His strategic thinking and expertise in real estate transactions enabled him to manage large-scale projects, contributing significantly to Mahindra’s growth in the region.
Vaibhav also spent close to two years as Director of Industry Development at China Fortune Land Development (CFLD), where he led the development of world-class industrial cities and attracted international companies across sectors such as engineering, food processing, and automotive.
