Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, August 2026 — Welspun World has elevated Khyati Shahh to the role of President – Group Corporate Communications & Chief Marketing Officer, marking a significant leadership progression for the communications and marketing executive within the conglomerate.
Shahh has been associated with Welspun World for nearly five years, taking on progressively broader responsibilities across corporate communications and marketing. She joined the group in October 2021 as Head of Group Corporate Communications and Vice President, where she led the group’s corporate communications function. In August 2023, she moved into the position of Chief Marketing Officer, expanding her leadership responsibilities across the organization’s marketing agenda.
Before joining Welspun World, Shahh served as Assistant Vice President (AVP) at India Today Group in 2021, with responsibilities spanning marketing and alliances for television. Prior to that, she was Associate Vice President – Marketing & Content at Star TV Network from 2019 to 2020. She earlier spent four years with Dainik Bhaskar Group, serving as General Manager – Brand & Marketing from 2015 to 2018.
Her earlier career includes a stint as a Marketing Consultant and leadership experience as Fine Fragrance & Beauty Care, Marketing Manager – India at International Flavors & Fragrances (IFF). Shahh has also worked across advertising, brand management and financial services, holding roles with Grey Group, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, Ogilvy, Triton Communications, and Beehive Communications.
With a career spanning more than two decades, Shahh brings experience across corporate communications, marketing, brand management, content and advertising. Her elevation to President – Group Corporate Communications & Chief Marketing Officer reflects her continued progression at Welspun World and places her in a broader leadership role overseeing the group’s communications and marketing functions.
