India, August 2026 — Sheela Foam Limited has announced the appointment of Hiroo Mirchandani as an Independent Director. With three decades of operational leadership experience and more than a decade of board experience, she brings extensive expertise spanning corporate governance, strategy, financial oversight, customer insights, and business transformation.
Over the course of her executive career, Mirchandani has held leadership responsibilities across Asian Paints, Dabur, World Gold Council, and Pfizer. Her experience encompasses sales, marketing, P&L management, brand building, and business transformation, with a focus on delivering sustainable revenue and profitability outcomes in customer-facing businesses.
Following her executive career, she built a substantial portfolio as an Independent Director, serving companies across sectors including consumer goods, healthcare, telecommunications, financial services, and hospitality. Her board experience has been anchored in strategic thinking, corporate governance, analytical rigor, financial oversight, and a deep understanding of consumers and markets.
Mirchandani holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Shri Ram College of Commerce and an MBA from the Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi. She is also a Chevening Gurukul Scholar from the London School of Economics and Political Science and holds certifications in ESG and Sustainability, complementing her experience in governance and responsible business leadership.
Her appointment adds significant cross-sector business and boardroom experience to Sheela Foam Limited as the company continues to strengthen its governance framework and pursue long-term growth across the home comfort and mattress market.
