United States, August 2026 — Emma C. Hutchens has joined Rose Paving LLC as Chief People Officer (CPO), bringing nearly two decades of experience across human resources, organizational transformation, people strategy, executive leadership, total rewards, HR technology and organizational change. In her new role, Hutchens will partner with Rose Paving’s leadership team to strengthen organizational capability, leadership effectiveness and people strategies supporting the company’s continued growth.
Prior to joining Rose Paving, Hutchens served as Chief People Officer at Impossible Foods, where she was part of the senior leadership team during a period of organizational evolution. She has also been serving as Managing Partner at Barrington & Co., advising leaders and organizations through business and organizational transitions.
Previously, Hutchens spent four years as Chief Human Resources Officer at Heaven Hill Brands. Before that, she served as Chief People Officer at Stoli Group and Vice President, Head of Human Resources at Gwynnie Bee, building extensive experience leading people functions across consumer, food and beverage, technology and direct-to-consumer businesses. Her career has also included board-level experience as a Non-Executive Director at SwayID.
Earlier, Hutchens spent approximately eight years with Brown-Forman, progressing through roles spanning total rewards, HR technology, organizational initiatives and business systems. Her positions included Compensation Manager – Total Rewards, Global Lead – Workday Implementation, Employee Resource Group Lead, Senior Business Analyst – Software Architecture & Innovation, and Business Analyst – HR Information Systems. She began her career with Greenebaum Doll & McDonald PLLC in special litigation projects.
Hutchens has further developed her leadership expertise through executive education in Global Business at Harvard Business School Executive Education and Organizational Change at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. Her appointment brings Rose Paving an experienced people executive with a background in helping organizations navigate growth, transformation and complex organizational change.
