Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, August 2026 — Veeda Lifesciences has announced the appointment of Dr. Girish Joshi as Chief Operating Officer – Preclinical SBU at Bioneeds India Pvt. Ltd., a Veeda Lifesciences company, effective July 30, 2026. In his new role, Dr. Joshi will lead the strategic growth and operational excellence of the preclinical research business, with responsibility across business performance, scientific operations, client partnerships, regulatory compliance, organizational development, and innovation.
Dr. Joshi brings more than three decades of experience spanning preclinical research, toxicology, DMPK, pharmacology, bioanalytical sciences, IND-enabling programs, CRDMO services, business development, and commercial leadership. Prior to joining Bioneeds, he served as National Business Line Leader & Senior Vice President – Adgyl Lifesciences at Eurofins India, where he held P&L responsibility across pharmacology, DMPK, and safety assessment services.
Before Eurofins, Dr. Joshi was Vice President & Business Unit Head – Safety Assessment Solutions at Aragen Life Sciences, where he led the business and strategic direction of the unit, managed client engagement and growth across service lines, expanded discovery capabilities, and oversaw a team of more than 120 scientists. Earlier, he served as Assistant Vice President – Business Development at Kemwell Biopharma, leading global business development across process development, preclinical and clinical supplies, and commercial manufacturing.
His earlier leadership journey includes roles as Global Sales Head – Biologics at Syngene International, Senior General Manager – Business Development at Recipharm, and DGM – Business Development at Advinus Therapeutics, where he built global client partnerships, developed go-to-market strategies, and supported integrated drug discovery and development services across North America, Europe, and APAC.
Dr. Joshi also brings deep scientific leadership experience from earlier roles as Head – Pre-clinical Safety Evaluation at Torrent Pharmaceuticals, Senior Scientist & Head – Toxicology at Zydus Research Centre, Scientist – Toxicology at Lupin, and Section Head – Mutagenicity & Inhalation Toxicology at JRF Global. He holds an MSc and Ph.D. in Cell Biology & Toxicology from Gujarat University, an MBA in International Business from Manipal Academy of Higher Education, and is an EU Registered Toxicologist (ERT).
