Earlier, Ahmad was Executive Director – Supply Chain at Castrol India Limited, where he spent more than four years. A major foundation of his career was built during approximately 18 years with ICI India Limited, where he progressed through positions spanning process engineering, plant and factory management, specialty chemicals, paints operations, business leadership, supply chain and IT. His roles included General Manager – Supply Chain & IT, General Manager – Motors & Industrial, Operations Manager – Paints Business, Factory Manager, Technical Manager and Plant Manager.

With a career dating back to 1985, Ahmad brings deep experience across manufacturing, chemical operations, supply-chain transformation, business management and international leadership.
