Atlanta Metropolitan Area, United States, March 2025 – Liberty Dental Plan has named Denise McKee as its Chief People Officer, where she will lead the company’s human capital strategy and workforce initiatives. With extensive experience in HR leadership, business transformation, and talent management, she will focus on enhancing employee engagement, driving organizational culture, and optimizing HR operations across the company’s growing network.
Prior to joining Liberty Dental Plan, Denise served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Refresh Mental Health, a behavioral healthcare company with over 3,000 employees across 32 states. She led a 40+ member HR team and was responsible for workforce strategy, leadership development, and operational efficiency. Before that, she was Vice President, People Business Partner at Optum, where she played a critical role in post-merger integration following Optum’s acquisition of Change Healthcare.
Denise also spent over five years at Change Healthcare, holding senior HR leadership roles, where she partnered with C-suite executives to develop talent strategies for the $3.2 billion integrated healthcare company. Earlier in her career, she held key HR positions at McKesson, Philips Healthcare, and MediTech Media, overseeing organizational development, employee relations, and HRIS implementation.
Denise holds extensive expertise in mergers & acquisitions, total rewards alignment, talent management, and HR strategy execution, which will be instrumental in supporting Liberty Dental Plan’s commitment to innovation and growth in the healthcare sector.
