Divyanshu Asthana has built a strong career in human resources leadership with expertise in HR business partnering, organizational development, talent strategy, leadership development, and people transformation. Prior to his elevation, he served as Head of Human Resources at Resonia, where he led the company’s HR function during a significant phase of organizational evolution following the demerger of the business from Sterlite Power Transmission Ltd. His leadership has focused on aligning people strategy with business priorities while strengthening organizational capability to support sustained growth.
Before joining Resonia, Divyanshu spent six years at Godrej Capital as Deputy General Manager – Human Resources, where he headed HR Business Partnering for the Secured Loans business. In this role, he partnered closely with business leadership to drive people strategy for a ₹5,000 crore profit and loss business, supporting workforce planning, leadership capability, organizational effectiveness, talent development, and business transformation initiatives. His contributions helped strengthen HR’s role as a strategic business partner in a rapidly growing financial services environment.
Earlier in his career, Divyanshu gained broad experience across multiple organizations, building a solid foundation in human resources, business partnering, employee engagement, performance management, and organizational development. Over the years, he has developed a reputation for combining strong business understanding with people-centric leadership, enabling organizations to build agile, high-performing teams aligned with strategic objectives.
