Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, October 2024 – Kapil Gupta has been named the Chief Human Resources Officer at Sterling Hospitals, one of Western India’s leading private hospital chains. In his new role, Kapil will oversee the HR operations across Sterling’s multiple hospitals, focusing on talent management, employee engagement, and the development of HR strategies that align with the hospital’s vision of providing ethical, patient-centric healthcare.
Before joining Sterling Hospitals, Kapil served as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Vijaya Diagnostic Centre Limited for one year, where he played a pivotal role in streamlining HR operations and enhancing the employee experience at one of India’s largest diagnostic networks. He led several strategic HR initiatives that significantly improved workforce productivity and employee satisfaction.
Prior to Vijaya Diagnostic, Kapil was the VP & Head – People & Culture (India, Middle-East & Africa) at Meitra Hospital for three years. He was responsible for designing and implementing HR strategies that supported the business expansion of the Meitra Care Network across the MENA region. His focus on change management and organizational development contributed to Meitra’s successful growth.
Kapil also served as the Director HR at Right Health (Foundation Holdings, Dubai) for one year, where he managed the HR operations across the UAE. He was instrumental in leading HR initiatives, including talent acquisition, workforce planning, and employee engagement, helping Right Health grow as a key healthcare player in the region.
Additionally, Kapil was the Chief Human Resources Officer at Biz2Credit, where he managed HR operations across India, the US, UK, Canada, and Australia for nearly two years. He led HR transformations and implemented several global HR policies that aligned with the company’s business goals.
Earlier in his career, Kapil held key HR leadership roles at Apollo Health and Lifestyle Limited, where he led multiple HR initiatives, including talent acquisition and business transformation for the Apollo Sugar Clinics Limited joint venture. His contributions were essential to the success of Apollo’s rapid expansion across various healthcare verticals.
