New York City Metropolitan Area, May 2026 — Melissa (Mancinelli) Woodhouse has started a new position as Head of Human Resources at Summit Health, marking a significant elevation in her decade-long journey with the organization. In this role, she will lead the company’s HR strategy, people operations, workforce initiatives, and organizational development priorities as Summit Health continues delivering integrated primary, specialty, and urgent care services.
Melissa has been associated with Summit Health for more than 10 years, holding progressive HR leadership roles including Senior Vice President Human Resources, Vice President Human Resources, National Director of Human Resources, and Manager HR Operations & Total Rewards. Her journey reflects deep experience across HR operations, total rewards, workforce strategy, employee experience, and healthcare people leadership.
Before joining Summit Health, Melissa worked with THE NET-A-PORTER GROUP as HR Operations & Total Reward Manager, where she gained experience across HR operations and rewards management. Earlier, she served as Manager Benefits & HR Systems at Barneys New York, building a strong foundation in benefits, HR systems, people operations, and total rewards.
