With over three decades of experience in the hospitality industry, he brings extensive expertise and a strong track record of delivering commercial results across globally respected brands. His appointment is expected to support Ascott’s continued growth and regional expansion across South Asia.
Before joining The Ascott Limited, Rohit Dar served as Senior Regional Director Operations – India at Hilton. Prior to that, he held leadership roles as General Manager at Westin Hyderabad Mindspace, Jaipur Marriott, and Oakwood Premier Prestige Bangalore. He was also associated with Fortis Healthcare as GM-Hospitality, further broadening his exposure across hospitality-led operational leadership.
Earlier in his career, he worked with The Oberoi Centre of Learning and Development as Assistant Vice President-Learning & Development. A significant phase of his professional journey was built at The Oberoi Rajvilas, where he held progressive roles including Rooms Division Manager, Deputy General Manager, Manager, and Management Trainee. Together, these assignments reflect a long and accomplished hospitality career spanning operations, leadership development, and hotel management across multiple leading brands.
With experience spanning The Ascott Limited, Hilton, Westin Hyderabad Mindspace, Jaipur Marriott, Fortis Healthcare, Oakwood Premier Prestige Bangalore, The Oberoi Centre of Learning and Development, and The Oberoi Rajvilas, Rohit Dar brings a distinguished and well-rounded leadership profile to his new role.
