Gurugram, Haryana, India, August 2026 — Akshita Summan has joined PwC India as Director, marking her return to the professional services firm after more than two years with PepsiCo. She brings nearly a decade of experience across people strategy, organizational transformation, capability development, performance management, leadership development, and HR consulting.
Prior to rejoining PwC India, Summan was Lead – People Strategy, Capability and Performance Management at PepsiCo, where her work encompassed people strategy, leadership development, capability building, performance management, and emerging areas such as AI capability. She previously served as Senior Manager – Capability Development and Inclusion at PepsiCo.
This marks Summan’s second stint with PwC India. Between 2021 and 2024, she progressed from Senior Consultant to Manager, working across organization restructuring, leadership development for senior executive roles, culture building, performance management, digital upskilling, business development, and client engagement delivery. She also managed consulting teams and a portfolio of transformation assignments.
Earlier, Summan spent nearly four years with EY, progressing from Consultant to Senior Consultant – People Advisory Services. Her work covered performance management and KPI design, compensation and benefits restructuring, digital learning, workforce planning, talent capability development, culture, change management, and transformation initiatives.
Summan holds an MBA in Human Resources from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune. Her combination of consulting and corporate HR experience positions her to bring both advisory and practitioner perspectives to her new leadership role at PwC India.
