India, August 2026 — Somesh Singh has joined Star Agriwarehousing & Collateral Management Ltd (StarAgri) as Chief Technology Officer (CTO), taking on responsibility for strengthening the company’s technology ecosystem and accelerating digital innovation across its integrated agricultural value-chain platform.
Singh brings more than 15 years of technology and engineering leadership experience, with a background in building digital products, leading engineering organizations and executing large-scale technology transformation. At StarAgri, his mandate will support the company’s efforts to use technology to make the agri-value chain more connected, efficient and data-driven, serving farmers, FPOs, financial institutions, agri-processors and other ecosystem participants.
Prior to joining StarAgri, Singh served as Vice President of Engineering at Delhivery, where he led end-to-end transportation technology. His remit spanned technology supporting first-mile, mid-mile and last-mile operations, along with HRMS, fleet platforms, mobile applications, DevOps and security. The role provided him with extensive experience in developing and scaling technology infrastructure supporting complex logistics operations.
Earlier in his career, Singh held key technology leadership roles at Tokopedia and Paytm, contributing to the development of high-impact digital platforms. Across these assignments, he has built experience at the intersection of engineering leadership, product development, scalable technology architecture and digital transformation.
Singh also holds an Executive MBA in Finance and Marketing from the Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi, completed between 2021 and 2023. His combination of technology leadership and management education positions him to support StarAgri as it further integrates digital capabilities across its warehousing, collateral management, finance enablement, market-linkage and agricultural value-chain solutions.
