Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, August 2026 — DSP Asset Managers Private Limited (DSPAM) today announced the appointment of Komal Narang as Head of Distribution. She succeeds Usha Nair, who would be retiring from DSP. In her new role, Komal will lead the firm’s distribution strategy as DSPAM looks to deepen relationships with distribution partners and expand access to its investment solutions for investors across India.
Komal brings over two decades of experience in financial services, with extensive experience across distribution, sales leadership, customer engagement and business development. She joins DSPAM from JioBlackRock Mutual Fund, where she served as Chief Client Officer, leading the firm’s sales, marketing and digital initiatives.
Prior to JioBlackRock, Komal spent over a decade at ICICI Prudential Asset Management, where she held senior leadership positions across customer engagement and business development. In her most recent role as Head – Customer Engagement, she built and led the AMC’s B2C business. Earlier, she led organised distribution channels as Head – Business Development.
Earlier in her career, Komal held leadership roles across sales and distribution at ICICI Prudential Life Insurance. She has also worked with Kotak Life Insurance and Indiabulls.
At DSPAM, Komal will lead the firm’s distribution strategy across channels, strategic alliances and distribution marketing. She will focus on deepening partnerships across the distribution ecosystem and strengthening investor engagement as DSP continues to expand its presence across India.
