United States, August 2026 — Xylem has appointed Andrea van der Berg as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective September 1, 2026. She will also join Xylem’s Executive Leadership Team, marking a significant internal leadership progression after more than six years with the global water technology company.
Van der Berg currently serves as Senior Vice President of Finance for Xylem’s Water Infrastructure segment. She was elevated to Senior Vice President Finance in November 2025 after serving as Vice President Finance. Earlier, she was Vice President of Investor Relations from 2022 to 2024 and Vice President, Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis from 2020 to 2022. Her progression at Xylem has given her experience across business finance, FP&A and investor relations.
Before joining Xylem, van der Berg spent two years with MSCI Inc. as an Executive Director. Prior to MSCI, she built a career of more than 13 years at Honeywell, progressing through numerous finance leadership positions across financial planning and analysis, treasury, capital markets, business planning and corporate audit.
At Honeywell, her senior responsibilities included serving as Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis – Safety and Productivity Solutions and General Safety Global CFO – Honeywell Industrial Safety. She previously held positions including Director – Business Analysis and Planning, Director Capital Markets – Treasury, Corporate Finance Manager – Treasury, Senior Financial Analyst – Treasury, Senior Auditor – Corporate Audit, and Financial Analyst – FP&A Aerospace, Space and Defense.
With more than 21 years of finance experience, van der Berg brings extensive expertise across corporate finance, financial planning and analysis, investor relations, treasury, capital markets and business operations. Her appointment reflects Xylem’s internal leadership pipeline and its focus on developing senior talent from within the organization.
