Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, August 2026 — Mondelēz International today announced a key leadership transition within its marketing organization in India, with the appointment of Vinay Subramanyam as the Vice President – Marketing in India. He will take over from Nitin Saini who has been elevated to a regional role in Southeast Asia as General Manager, Indonesia.
Vinay joins Mondelez India with over two decades of experience across leading consumer goods organizations. Vinay joins from Kellanova (Now Mars Snacking), where he served as Head of Marketing, South Asia and was a member of the AMEA Commercial Leadership Team. Over the course of his career, he has held leadership positions at Kellanova, Pidilite Industries, Britannia Industries, and VIP Industries.

At Kellanova, Vinay was responsible for scaling category growth, leading strategic business initiatives, and overseeing brand and marketing efforts across South Asia. Known for his consumer-first mindset and strong commercial acumen, he has consistently delivered business growth while creating meaningful brand experiences. Prior to Kellanova, Vinay has led marketing for organizations such as Pidilite Industries and Britannia Industries. He began his career in sales and has successfully led large, cross-functional teams across diverse categories and markets.
Vinay has been recognized externally among India’s leading marketers, including being featured in Business World’s Top 50 Marketers and Impact’s Top 100 Marketers lists. He holds a Master’s degree in Management from MICA, Ahmedabad, and a graduate degree in Business Management from Bharathiar University, Tamil Nadu.
