Ed Alfonso Joins Arium Networks as Chief Commercial Officer

Charlotte, North Carolina, United States, August 2026 — Ed Alfonso has joined Arium Networks as its new Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). The appointment brings to Arium Networks a telecommunications executive with more than two decades of leadership experience spanning commercial strategy, operations, sales, business development, customer relationships and large-scale network transformation.

Prior to joining Arium Networks, Alfonso spent more than 12 years with Nokia, most recently serving as Chief Operating Officer, Nokia Americas. In that role, he was responsible for strategic, operational and financial performance across Nokia’s Americas unit, working closely with senior leadership on business strategy, investments and growth opportunities. He also focused on operational excellence, organizational performance and executive talent development.

Before becoming COO of Nokia Americas, Alfonso served for more than six years as Senior Vice President, Sprint Customer Business Team at Nokia. His responsibilities extended across services, infrastructure, software, business development and delivery. During this period, he led growth initiatives, managed large customer relationships and oversaw complex network, services and software programs, including major 5G-related business opportunities.

Earlier, Alfonso spent nearly 13 years with Ericsson, where he held several senior commercial leadership positions. He served as Vice President, Sprint Customer Unit, with responsibility for growth programs, contract performance, network transformation, business development and P&L management. He previously held roles as Vice President, Regional Sales and VP & Director, Infrastructure Sales – AT&T/Cingular Customer Unit, building extensive experience across telecommunications infrastructure, managed services and strategic customer accounts.

Across his career, Alfonso has developed deep expertise in commercial growth, telecommunications infrastructure, operational leadership, sales, managed services, network transformation, strategic account management and business development. As Chief Commercial Officer at Arium Networks, he brings this experience to the company as it expands its connectivity infrastructure business and strengthens relationships across wireless carriers, venues and communities.

Arium Networks is a connectivity infrastructure company specializing in the design, deployment and operation of small cell and Distributed Antenna System (DAS) networks. The company focuses on improving wireless coverage and network capacity, including in locations where delivering reliable connectivity can be challenging.

Working with wireless carriers, venues and communities across the United States, Arium Networks develops infrastructure designed to provide reliable coverage and capacity in environments where network performance is critical.
