Carla Rebelo Returns to Randstad as CEO of Randstad Portugal

Lisbon, Portugal, August 2026 — Randstad Portugal has appointed Carla Rebelo as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), marking a return to the Randstad Group where she previously held senior leadership roles in Portugal and at the company’s global headquarters in Amsterdam.

Rebelo brings more than three decades of leadership experience spanning human resources, finance, business transformation, recruitment, operations, strategy and general management. Most recently, she served as Group Senior Vice President and Global Head of Finance for Adecco’s Global Business Unit, where she acted as CFO of The Adecco Group’s largest business unit, overseeing financial performance and transformation across a business with more than €18 billion in revenue.

Before that, Rebelo was Global Head of Adecco Permanent Recruitment and Senior Vice President, leading the permanent recruitment business across 48 countries and a network of approximately 2,200 consultants. Earlier, she served as Country General Manager for Adecco Portugal, where she held full P&L responsibility across staffing, outsourcing, training and professional recruitment businesses.

Her international leadership journey also includes serving as Managing Director of Hays Brazil and Country General Manager & Vice President of Kelly Services Brazil, where she led strategy, operations, finance, marketing, IT, legal and HR. Her experience across Portugal, Brazil, Switzerland and the Netherlands has given her a broad global perspective on workforce solutions and business transformation.

Rebelo’s first tenure with Randstad spanned more than eight years. She served as CFO in Portugal, later becoming Head of Global Business Audit and then Senior Group Controller at Randstad’s global headquarters in Amsterdam, where she supported performance management, acquisitions, integration and strategic projects across multiple international markets. Earlier in her career, she held finance leadership roles with Deloitte Portugal, AkzoNobel/Organon/Teknika/Intervet, and Nestlé Waters.
