Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, August 2026 — Prasidha Menon has joined Apple as Head – Product Communications for India, taking on a key communications leadership mandate as the technology company continues to strengthen its presence in the Indian market. In her new role, Menon will focus on shaping product narratives and communications for Apple in India.
Menon brings more than 15 years of communications and brand leadership experience, spanning technology, travel, hospitality, healthcare and communications consulting. Prior to joining Apple, she was with Airbnb, where she most recently worked across Brand & Product Communications for Asia Pacific. During her tenure, she also served as Head of Communications for India, Southeast Asia, Hong Kong & Taiwan, overseeing communications across a diverse group of markets.
Before Airbnb, Menon served as Director & Head – Brand, Marketing & Communications at Optum | UnitedHealth Group. She previously spent nearly three years with OYO, progressing through senior communications positions to become Vice President & Global Head of Communications. In that capacity, she led communications at a global level after initially heading the company’s external and internal communications in India.
Her earlier leadership journey includes serving as Head of Communications, India and South Asia at Uber, following a stint as Product Communications Lead, India. Menon also spent several years with Edelman India, progressing through roles including Account Manager, Senior Account Supervisor and Account Director. Her earlier career included communications and editorial assignments with Genesis Burson-Marsteller, Positive Communications and other organizations.
Menon holds an MBA in Marketing & Finance from the Indian Institute of Planning and Management. Her appointment at Apple brings together extensive experience in product communications, corporate reputation, brand storytelling and multi-market communications leadership.
