Australia, August 2026 — Robert Cook has been appointed Chief Growth Officer at Pure Dairy, bringing more than 20 years of executive and professional experience across FMCG, foodservice, ingredients, finance and international business. In his new role, Cook will lead Pure Dairy’s growth strategy, strengthen its position in existing markets and identify new opportunities to accelerate the company’s expansion.
Cook joins Pure Dairy following his tenure as Senior Vice President – Global Markets at HyFun Foods, where he served from March 2024 to March 2026. The position added to his extensive experience in international food businesses and global market development.
Prior to HyFun Foods, Cook spent more than 10 years with Fonterra, progressing through several senior roles across Asia-Pacific. Most recently, he served as President & General Manager in the Philippines for nearly five years. He previously held the position of Finance & IS Director – Fonterra Brands Philippines and, before that, served as Regional Manager, AsiaMEA & Greater China, based in Kuala Lumpur. His career at Fonterra provided broad exposure to general management, business strategy, sales, marketing and finance across diverse international markets.
Earlier in his career, Cook worked with KPMG in Auckland as an Assistant Manager, focusing on risk advisory and business development. He also spent several years with PwC, including as a Senior Consultant with PwC South Africa. His career combines commercial and financial expertise with extensive leadership experience across food and dairy businesses.
As Chief Growth Officer, Cook’s international experience and understanding of global food markets will support Pure Dairy as it develops its growth agenda across existing and emerging markets. His background in building businesses and leading teams across the Asia-Pacific region positions him to contribute to the company’s next phase of development.
